Russia’s Beauty Imports Re-route and Accelerate

Russia’s beauty import market is becoming more diversified, with growing supplies from Asia and other emerging trade hubs. According to recent trade data, cosmetics imports are rising across key categories, while sourcing is shifting toward skincare, fragrance ingredients and value-for-money beauty products.

South Korea remains one of the strongest suppliers in skincare: exports of Korean cosmetics to Russia reached $361.6 million in 2025, up 12.2% year on year. China also strengthened its position, with cosmetics imports to Russia reaching $155.2 million in 2025, an all-time high and a 36.7% increase.

Türkiye is gaining momentum in fragrance ingredients, while France became the leading EU supplier of perfumes to Russia in February 2026.

The data shows that Russia’s beauty market is not shrinking — it is rebalancing. Brands offering reliable supply, strong product stories and competitive pricing are best positioned to benefit.

These shifts will be among the key topics at InterCHARM 2026, the leading professional platform for the beauty industry in Russia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe. The exhibition brings together brands, suppliers, distributors, retailers and industry experts to discuss new supply routes, product launches and growth opportunities in the Russian beauty market.
